Chocolatier & Campfire Stories

Chocolatier & Campfire Stories
Games stacked on games.

I've done a decent amount of TTRPGs in the last decade or so. Recently, I've had an opportunity to breathe back into life a number of short tabletop games from my very distant past, and I've been loving it. I'm getting to revisit some meaningful games from my past with new design skills.

So, here's a post to talk about two games I've recently put up on Itch.io.

Campfire Stories is a game about searching for Sasquatch in the pacific northwest. I've played it many times now and each time I find I can't fully predict the results at the table, though they tend towards the introspective, heartfelt, and charming. And laughter, always a little bit of laughter. Catch it here.

Chocolatier isn't an RPG at all! It's a story telling game where you eat actual chocolate and tell stories about your experience. In the process, other players tell you stories about their lives that match that experience. I have found it an amazing way to get to know your friends—I guarantee you that you will hear stories you've never heard them tell before. Find this one here.

Both PDFs are pay-what-you-want. By that I mean, free to a good home, and if you want to tip, I promise to buy my rabbit Holland a few extra treets. Honestly, I'm just happy to see them get a new lease on life. Do try them out and tell me how they worked out for you.
